Our mapping server will be undergoing a software upgrade to the latest version (v.10).  Please anticipate some downtime today.  If all goes well the upgrade should only take a couple of hours.

Added a Weather Underground tool to all sites.  The tool pulls in weather station data from http://www.wunderground.com/.

Added the new color aerial imagery that was collected in late March of 2010.  Imagery was added to all mapping sites. 

Added ability to print search results grid (list) from the find parcel tool.  Use the find parcels to search/select parcels.  Click the view results in grid icon on the tool title bar and then choose print.  A landscape page orientation should be used for best results.

Added the ability to print a map legend page.  The print functionality was added to the print preview windows as well as the map contents menu (the printer icon).

Improved parcel and tax info tool.  Removed unnecessary information for the identify results view as well as consistentl order the parcel info results.

In the map contents, under the Waupaca County Landbase there is a township zoning group which has the new comprehensive zoning data as well as the old "current zoning".  As townships adopt the new Zoning Ordinance, the layer will be updated.  Currently Bear Creek is the only township that has adopted the new Zoning Ordinance.  The rest will be adopting throughout the next year.

The draw-measure tools has now been separated into two distinct tools, hopefully making them easier to use.

Added an improved login system for our subscription access page.

Added a new and improved map printing tool to all sites.

Added a new tool that allows a user to click on the map to generate a hyperlink.  The hyperlink can be copied and pasted into another application. Using this tool, a user can share map locations with others.

Added a new tool to all internet mapping sites that facilitates viewing access to the new FEMA Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRM).

Added our historic ortho imagery to all internet mapping sites.

Updated the map contents tool to the include the ability to display a map legend.

Our old subscription access site will no longer be available, please use the new one.

Added a tool that allows a user to save the current map display as a .jpeg or .png image.

Added a search to all sites that allows a user to search for Public Land Survey System (PLSS) Town/Range and section.

Added a get X/Y tool that allows a user to click on the map to get County X/Y and Lat/Long coordinates.

Added the new FEMA Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map data to our mapping sites.  Use the map contents tool to view the new floodplain information.

Launched a new subscription access site that uses an Adobe Flex interface coupled with ArcGIS Server map services.

Launched a new public access site that uses an Adobe Flex interface coupled with ArcGIS Server map services.

City of Clintonville and City of Waupaca high resolution color imagery available.

Search for campgrounds, County Parks, and Lakes now available.

We have added a "Find Address" task to our web mapping sites.  You will find the task located in the upper left corner of our applications.  The "Find Address" task makes it possible to search for any address in the County, regardless of whether it exists in our Tax Database.  The task also allows for road name spelling errors and mistyped addresses.  Give it a try!
